About Us
The Capon Bridge Farmers Market was founded in 2021 by a group of local farmers who shared one simple goal: bring fresh, local food directly to the people of our community.
What started as a handful of vendors on School Street has grown into a lcommunity favorite, open-air market now hosted at Bent River Trading Company on Route 50. From mid-June through the last Saturday in September, you’ll find us there every Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM—rain or shine.
Whether you’re picking up your weekly groceries or just stopping by to soak in the atmosphere, you’ll find something special waiting for you.
Each weekend brings a rotating lineup of local favorites, including:
🌱 Seasonal produce picked at peak ripeness
🥩 Locally raised meats and eggs
☕ Coffees, teas, and herbal blends
🪴 Plants and flowers
🚚 Food trucks and live music
🍞 Sourdough bread & baked goods
But more than that, you’ll find something you can’t put a price on - connection. Neighbors catching up, kids enjoying activities, and conversations over fresh fruits and vegetables. This market is built around good food, good company, and good times.
We believe that buying local means investing in your community. Every dollar spent here helps a neighbor grow their business, support their family, and keep our local economy thriving. And the food? It doesn’t get any fresher.
This isn’t just about nourishment. It’s about relationships, resilience, and returning to what really matters.
Thank you for showing up, shopping small, and feeding this community with love.
We’re so glad you’re here.
